Travel Itinerary
First Day -
At the break of dawn for your Kilimanjaro day excursion, we will collect you from your hotel – a day filled with adventure in the wilds of Tanzania awaits. The journey to West Kilimanjaro will guide you through a forest reserve, offering you the chance to spot the elusive Colobus Monkeys in their natural habitat. Your trek across the rugged terrain of Shira Plateau commences at an elevation of 3,500 m above sea level. Step out of the vehicle, tie up your shoelaces, and immerse yourself in the sights, scents, and hues of Tanzania’s breathtaking wilderness. Traverse various paths under the guidance of a ranger, soaking in panoramic vistas of Kibo, the tallest peak of Kilimanjaro, and its northern ice fields on clear days. The hike is of moderate difficulty, accessible to all without requiring exceptional athleticism. Nevertheless, at 3,500m, the air is thinner, so proceed at a comfortable pace, relishing the unspoiled landscapes and the grandeur of Kilimanjaro. Following a 4-hour trek – or sooner if your legs grow weary – we will transport you back to your hotel.
