Travel Itinerary
The First Day - Journey from Arusha to the Tarangire Wildlife Sanctuary
The journey will commence at 7:30 in the morning from a designated meeting spot in Arusha town, heading towards Tarangire National Park with a 2.5-hour drive ahead. Upon arrival, registration will be completed before entering the park. Tarangire National Park, known as the land of baobab trees, is renowned for its majestic elephants and boasts a diverse bird population of over 500 species. Later in the day, we will make our way to Country Lodge for a delightful dinner and to spend the night.
The Second Day - National Park of the Serengeti
Following breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic journey from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive to the Serengeti gate is estimated to take around 4 to 5 hours. En route, we'll take a break at the Ngorongoro viewpoint to soak in the breathtaking sights. Upon reaching the Serengeti, a thrilling half-day game drive awaits until dusk. Subsequently, we'll head to Thorn Tree Tented Camp for a delightful dinner and our overnight stay.
The Third Day - From the Serengeti Plains to the Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day bright and early with a game drive either before or after breakfast, to be organized with your guide. Spend the morning exploring the wilderness until it's time for lunch. Return to the lodge for a delicious hot meal, or opt for a packed lunch to enjoy on the go. Continue your game drive as you head towards the Ngorongoro region, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at the charming Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
The Fourth Day - Arusha's Path through the Crater
Following a hearty morning meal, embark on a journey from the camp towards the crater for a game drive that will last half a day. The Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for providing exceptional wildlife sightings in Africa. It boasts a diverse array of safari animals in abundant numbers. Witnessing the resident black rhinos is a rare delight, given how elusive these creatures are globally. Additionally, the crater is a habitat for magnificent elephant bulls adorned with impressive tusks. At Lake Magadi, you'll have the chance to observe numerous flamingos. Return to the camp around noon for a satisfying lunch before gearing up for the drive to Arusha.
