Travel Itinerary
The First Day - Journey from Arusha to the Tarangire Wildlife Reserve
Our journey will begin at 7:30 am from a predetermined meeting spot in the bustling town of Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive to the park entrance will last approximately 2.5 hours, where you will complete the necessary registration before entering. Renowned as the "land of baobab trees," Tarangire National Park in Tanzania boasts majestic elephants and a rich diversity of over 500 bird species. As the day winds down, we will make our way to Country Lodge Karatu for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
The Second Day - Traveling from Karatu through the Ngorongoro region to reach Serengeti
Following breakfast, our journey will take us from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive from the lodge to the Serengeti gate typically lasts between 4 to 5 hours. Along the route, we will pause at the Ngorongoro viewpoint and the Olduvai Gorge statue for brief stops. Upon reaching Serengeti National Park, a half-day game drive will be conducted until evening. Subsequently, we will proceed to Thorn Tree Tented Camp for dinner and overnight accommodations.
The Third Day - From Serengeti National Park to the proximity of Ngorongoro Crater
At the crack of dawn, either before or after enjoying your breakfast (as coordinated with your guide), we embark on a morning safari until noon. Following a delicious lunch, we set off on another safari towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an evening meal and spending the night at the charming Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
The Fourth Day - From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town
Following a delightful early morning meal, we will journey from Rhino Lodge to explore the Ngorongoro Crater during a captivating half-day safari. Renowned for its exceptional wildlife sightings, this crater in Africa is teeming with a diverse array of safari animals. Witnessing the rare black rhinos in their natural habitat is a highlight, as these elusive creatures are not easily spotted. Additionally, keep an eye out for the majestic elephant bulls sporting impressive tusks. As you reach Lake Magadi, marvel at the sight of numerous flamingos gracing the waters. Around noon, we will head to a scenic picnic spot for a satisfying lunch before making our way to Arusha for drop-off at the designated location.
